That’s fine, but you don’t get to bitch about not inheriting players and complaining about lack of upperclassmen when players that fit, or would have fit, those descriptions were “processed” or left on his watch.

I've made this point plenty of times.

A - "WE have no depth!!!"

B - "But you just cut some guys? Why did you cut them?"

A - "Oh they weren't going to play anyway."

Makes no sense.

That’s actually a question for you. You thought it was noteworthy enough to say no players were inherited so I felt compelled to correct your error. Why did you think it’s relevant enough to mention

The players not being on the team is relevant. Why they aren't there doesn't matter.

They were processed and it has been mentioned before. Again they aren't there and thank you for correcting my glaring error. It's just another illustration of why civil discourse can't be had on this board. I hope that you enjoyed your little gotcha.

The fact is that they aren't on the team.

That’s why it’s difficult to have a conversation with some of you, and why some of the spin from the athletic department is nauseating

I wasn't bitching about not inheriting players. The other guy said that they inherited talent. Well it must've not been that great of talent because they were let go. So don't tell me what I get to bitch about. If the guy hadn't posted a bunch of bullshite I wouldn't have had to mention it to begin with. Maybe you check yourself before you mouth off about honest conversation.

My comments were completely honest and can be verified as factual. I’m sorry that upsets you.

Again where are these players?

How are they relevant when discussing current members of the team?

You could've simply pointed out that they were processed players. Do you think that I didn't know about them?

Do you think that I intentionally omitted them because it was some sort of conspiracy or sinister plot?

Or could the more simple explanation be that it doesn't matter why they're not here the fact is they aren't here.

This was your exact comment:
quote:

He didn't inherit anything at all on the offensive line he doesn't have any upperclassmen

Yes, I have some thoughts on why you worded it the way you did.

The statement about Canada being Alleva's man I agree with. This is how I think it went down, O told Alleva he could bring in Kiffin and when that fell through he made O hire the "hot commodity" in Canada.

You can't have a normal conversation on this board. It's troll central. Between the trolls and the delusional civil discourse is impossible.

Yes you can... But not with you..... You go overboard with thinking you are right with your agenda and when someone disagrees you attack.... That's NOT a normal conversation........

Exactly how am I wrong?

Because I didn't mention some processed players that aren't relevant and aren't here.

No, but why did you intentionally omit them? I have my suspicions, but I would like to hear your reasoning.

I didn't do it intentionally. They've been discussed before. You can choose to believe that or not. I know which one you'll choose. My point then and now is they aren't on the team. I've acknowledged repeatedly that they were processed in the last several posts so why is it still a subject?

O-line is right up there with those 2 in my opinion ( d-line and qb).
