Somehow since NIL, CFB looks completely different. The balance of power has shifted away from the SEC and there is much more parity and no truly dominant teams like we saw through the early 2020s. Ohio State looks relatively dominant at the moment, but they are a 2-loss team.

UGA was already not a great or dominant team and played with a first-time starter at QB. Neither Texas nor anyone else is a great team right now.

ND will get destroyed by OSU and beaten by double digits by Penn St or TX. Let's not pretend like they've overcome 2012 Alabama, 2018 Clemson or 2021 Alabama. Those were truly great teams and Notre Dame isn't close to that level and likely never will be.

No problem. Here's a $60 Million Powerball because the AD gave you a 10-year deal that just didn't work out.
BK is going nowhere for at least 3-4 more seasons. Any coach that has 10, 10 and 9 wins in the SEC should not be fired.

Flip schedules for LSU and Notre Dame and what do you think their records would have been. LSU finished 8-4 and Notre Dame 11-1.

There was a time when the hiring of Saban was very much a crap shoot as well. He hadn't won anything of note before coming to LSU.

LSU lost to aTm and USC this season.

ND beat both of those teams this season. And by double digits.

Your argument is invalid.

I’m saying if he goes 9-3 next year, he isn’t the answer. I didn’t say he’d be fired, but that would only be due to his huge buyout. He’ll be 64 in October, so time is not on his side. He’ll be returning a Heisman contender at Qb. He’ll finally have stability on the defensive side of the ball. He’ll have the best transfer portal class in the country coming in. A transfer class that right now, is only 1-2 players away from filling every need on the roster. People are saying they’re still going to sign a few more players, to fill those needs. He also signed #8 recruiting class in the country. Personally, I’ve been a Kelly fan from day 1. I think 2025 is the year he makes a run in the playoffs. If he doesn’t, it’s a huge disappointment.

He lost (2) 4 star prospects (RB & WR) out of Archbishop Shaw in the Westbank.

This might be a valid argument had LSU not signed Harlem Berry, JT Lindsey, TaRon Francis, and Phillip Wright. All of which are high rated Louisiana kids at the same positions as your Michigan boys. Frank Wilson is LSU’s recruiting coordinator, and with all due respect, I value his opinion over yours. Wright was even committed to your favorite school- Michigan- until LSU offered him. Your definition of “losing in-state recruits to Michigan “ is not reality.

Transitive property is one of the dumbest arguments in sports. Each of those games were played at different points of the season and all games were close until the very end.

ok, then don't give any guy (not named Saban) a 10-year, $100 million contract fully guaranteed.

Getting GA without their QB and a very easy schedule helped a bunch. That is a real fact not opinion. To start the season, there were several analysts saying ND would be here because A&M would be their toughest opponent. They were. GA limped into that game.
