We kinda knew we would suck. I just wasn't prepared for lack of coaching we've seen.

OC is abysmal with no creativity.
Special teams is worse than I've ever seen.

Can we not find 1 guy who can kick it out of the endzone?

WR department is a complete fail. Sorry but even with the awful throwing, they still drop nice passes once they get them. It's bad.

Offensive line actually has improved but I think Campbell falling out the day before hurt. But overall they've at least improved.

QB awful. I've seen middle school quarterbacks process the field faster than Daniels. Our receivers almost always get to the end of their routes and are either standing or just making moves up while he holds and holds and holds. At this point we need to realize he's not a pocket qb and move to more mobile/misdirection read offense. Unsure if he's tough enough to run much in SEC though.

Defense has been ok. Ward, Perkins, Baskerville, BJO don't need to be off the field ever. I'm not much a fan of zone defense, but we just don't have the CB's to play much man right now. Some need to step up and play to their stars and size. But it's the least frustrating group.

Punting again is great. Wish we didn't know this.

I think it's one thing to know your team is bad and not expect much. But sometimes it clicks and they look really good. I feel like we're not scheming to cover our deficiencies and that's frustrating knowing we supposedly have a great coach. I'd like to see more brain power being used at being creative to put us in the best situations.

U mean the coach that has been elite every where he has coached?
Some of you really need to keep up woth the program. Kelly inherited the worst lsu roster since saban took over.

Boutte was headed to the house if he makes that catch. In his defense, JD's pass was high and behind him (and thrown like, a thousand miles an hour), but still, our WR1 has to make that catch.

Exactly and had daniels actually thrown it on time he scores easily.

Look. Im not here to claim denbrock's scheme is great or even good but no scheme can survive a qb that refuses to throw the ball more than 5 yards and unless his wr/te is wide open.
No defense respects Daniels ability to throw so it allows defenses to keep their eyes in the back field all gane and daniels cant make them pay for it.
Daniels is having hard time being successful on plays meant to get a qb in rythym so im sure the oc is reluctant to call anything exotic.
The scheme might be shite but its hard to judge it when your qb struggles with the forward pass

Oh I agree 100%. But it feels like we are predictable even with play calls. Maybe they need to do up their routes and tell Daniels exactly who to throw it to ahead of time. Meaning you know which routes are likely to see daylight. All I know is that if your QB likes to run, then run him. If he gets hurt running, then it's not like you're worse off because the guy can't pass. Take your chances running.

Certain jet sweeps or draws or designed qb runs or trick plays would help a little to at least make the defense actually have to think against us.

Not by much and not enough for the miss to be on Daniels. JB threw a a bunch of passes that looked like that to Marshall, Chase, and Jefferson.

That thing was coming fast, I'll give you that.

At times yes he did, but a 4 year starter should be able to see a blitz coming when 7 defenders are at the line

"We don’t suck."

I agree with that. We are about where we were last year, after a lot of good players left. We are not good but we are not terrible.

"This program is better and further along than anyone expected."

This is unadulterated sunshine pumping. I can live with talent issues at certain positions, but the team has been undisciplined and mistake prone, despite generally playing hard. So, no, we are not "better than expected."

I swear it's like the QBs and WRs have never practiced together with no confidence the ball will be there or WR will be on the spot either.
Routes aren't crisp and not sure they count steps for timing. Looks like sandlot ball just finding somebody open to throw to imo.
