No.

Both QB's will run the same offense and your receivers still suck.

I wouldn't say they suck, they aren't as good as yours, but then again I would take either of our QB's over yours.

Seriously, Brantley may be talented, but so was J. Russell and it took him a while to be an effective QB in the SEC. His first start ever will be on the Road against your toughest opponent this year. Florida's overconfidence in this guys amazes me. He may come out and look like a pro, but I wouldn't bet on it.

He's not playing, and Brantley is probably a top-tier SEC QB right now.

i really don't think it was the teammate that hurt him

Can someone give us a bio on this Brantley kid? I keep hearing how good he is, especially that he's a better passer than Tebow. Is he athletic? I saw somewhere they said he's more of a pro style qb....seems like that wouldn't be a good fit in UF's misdirection/speed offense.

I'm assuming he's never started a game. Getting your first start in Tiger Stadium and getting a W seems like a tall order. But if he can pull it off, more power to him.

Florida coach Urban Meyer says quarterback Tim Tebow has not yet been cleared to play against No. 4 LSU and will not practice Monday.

But Meyer also said the Heisman Trophy winner is no longer dealing with post-concussion symptoms.

So Tebow is not practicing today. What about tomorrow?

I doubt he practices at all this week, maybe some passing drills, but that's it....

Our defense will put Brantley in a good position to get a W.

I'm going to assume you're joking, or you haven't seen the replay. Maybe blind?

If Tebow plays he won't be able to be as effective running the ball this soon coming off a concussion, so i think it'd be an advantage to have tebow out there only if his running is limited

This is dangerous thinking, Tebow will play, 4 qtrs, and we will lose to him.

Just to be clear, this isn't a confirmation that Tebow WON'T play on Saturday. Just a statement basically he is still progressing and won't practice today.

I wonder where is the cut off for him not playing if he can't practice...even if he is ready by Saturday.

Intra-squad scrimmage. He looks pretty athletic, but there's a difference between a quiet home stadium where the other team isn't allowed to tackle you, and a legit game between top 5 teams.

no I wouldn't put that on here. It's tape from him at UF against UGA, UK, Citadel and some footage from this year's spring game.

I thought you had to be cleared seven days before a game in order to play, which means he needed the green light last Saturday...from all indicators, he didn't get it....

Does anyone know if that's a legit rule?
