In addition to the fact that LA produces more than its fair share of great players, Baton Rouge alone produces an inordinate amount of good talent.
In addition to everything you said, which was great, LSU is currently sitting at #12, as the school with the most current NBA players, and that doesnt' include a top 5 pick, a top 15 pick, and a SEC POTY award winner who has an nba championship from the last 11 years.
Anyone that thinks Mizzou is a better basketball school, or a better basketball job than LSU, was either born yesterday, or knows nothing about basketball.
Tim Brando is a butt hurt dumbass.

Not a Brando fan but he might have point. I think Mizzou cares more about hoops than LSU. It's been really do long since LSU was consistently relevant. Take away the '06 team and Stro's team, what have you got?

Historically, LSU is better.
Recently, both programs are about the same if you look at results. Mizzou was good in the BigXII. Now, not so much.

LSU has struggled to build a first-class basketball program due to a history of careless coaching hires.
Brady was hired essentially because no one else would take the job under the sanctions from the Brown days.
Johnson seemed like a good "outside the box" candidate. Unfortunately he just wasn't a "fit" recruiting down here
Jones should have never been hired in the first place. Everybody knew from day one how that story would end.
NOW is a great opportunity for LSU though. There is no NCAA sanctions, APR issues or former coach influences to blame things on. With the SECN in place, there has never been more money coming into the program. Except for maybe Indiana if they fire Crean, there are no real bluebloods LSU is competing with in this coaching cycle (NC St., Mizzou, Illinois thus far). All have solid histories, buy I could make a case that LSU is at minimum an equal caliber program.
Go out and be bold. Don't just settle for the likes of Kermit Davis, Rick Stansbury, etc.

he is just sour that nobody here cares about his opinion on anything!!!

Probably for basketball, they are more of a basketball school than a football one.

Seems like there is a weekly "Tim Brando says..." thread on here.
We get it Tim; you still want to feel important.
He literally gets paid to talk about sports.

They have, without looking it up, five elite eights.
LSU has 6 Elite Eights.
But I did look it up.
