There are a lot of reasons for the so-called hate on TB. But here in BR, he's known all over town for his continuous playing the "don't you know who I am" card when trying to get this perk or that one at a restaurant or club. And played it once, to his dismay, with a La. State Trooper friend. He was let go from CBS for reason, and has bounced all over the landscape with other stations as well. He's just a prick & that has nothing to any of his opinions re LSU. People here know him, that his image problem.

Uh, didn't we beat ole miss last year and was beating bama in the last two minutes?

Ole miss is better. And LOL at all the "almost beat nana" stuff
Come on guys, I only said we need to prove our ability to balance the offense before we are claimed champions.

We WILL NOT beat bama and ole miss with less than 100 yds passing.

Yes they can. I know they lost to bama last year, but had them beat until a bull shite penalty. Im just saying this team can win with throwing for under 100 yards. Jennings threw for 140 and two ints against ole miss. Still won.

These are our passing stats from last year's Bama game...which we should have won.

8 for 26 for 76 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.

LOL..."should have" eh? What if we pass for 200, I bet we win.

Ill help you....who's the best team the last 5+ years. Bama? Now Ohio St......

Check their stats for balance in offensive playcalling. Just do it and report back. I bet it's close to 50/50 or 60/40.

OM and Nana are terrific against the run. We will not beat them only running. Balance is needed and I haven't seen us show that just yet. We have to to win out.

Yes, but it's the balance that threatens defenses and makes them play honest.

I'm just not sure why fans are letting these first 2 games make us forget our offensive balance woes. They still exist.

We dominated that game. The score was not reflective.

LSU dominated the first half and that was about it, so I am not sure what game you were watching to say they dominated the game.

Now MSU versus LSU last year was a team basically dominating a game and the score not matching up what really happened.

Even after playing Alabama, Ole Miss is giving up 164.7 yards on the ground. Their strength is pass rushing.

Bama is good against the run and not the pass.

Ole Miss gave up 215 yards rushing against Alabama. Alabama only gave up 92.

2011 says hi. Remember that Thursday night game? GTFO. State has the best QB we might see all year.

He is still convinced the McNeese game will cost us in the eyes of the committee

Well, I definitely disagree with that. It hurt Fournette's yardage totals, but that is about it now. The next few games are to hone this weapon to a steely hard, sharp edge...

QB play, along with the entire presentation of the offense, is much better than last year.

I agree, but LSU will have to make some passes down field to win at Ole Miss and at 'Bama. TAMU is no cake walk either. This team should have devastating play-action passing with its run game. I think that will come for sure.

I see you still don't get it. Tell us at what point in the Auburn game more passing was a good idea?

If we could've, should've won with that stat line...I don't think we need to put up 200+ yards through the air to beat Bama...especially considering the fact that our run game looks better this year than it did last.

This is what I keep saying to people who start this nonsense like LSU has needed a good passing game to beat Bama. We just don't need an extremely bad one. Bama is not as good as they were last year. The QB is much worse, they don't have a 1-2 punch at RB, they don't have an Amari Cooper type, and their secondary is still bad. It's not to say that they can't improve, but LSU is already better early than they were last year, and will only get better as the year goes.

Why do you people care so much when someone picks LSU to lose? Especially media type people that will pick the underdogs just to garner interest? I don't get it.

I guess I have a peeve for people who don't use sound judgment in their analysis and get paid to do this crap for a living. His arguments for the McNeese St game actually mattering in the long run, to his reason why Auburn, MSU, and Ole Miss and TAMU would beat LSU were astoundingly stupid.

The Auburn hype this offseason was some high level monkey see monkey do shite. Like follow the leader from media member to media member, from coach/coach aid to coach/coach aid, from fan to fan, etc. It was like living in WTFland.

I get it...you don't. We will not even make the playoff throwing for 70 yards a game. Balance is not 411 yards rushing/70 yards passing. Maybe in your world it is.
Yes we won the game running at will against an Auburn D that Buga made quit.
What data do you have to offer that this trend will continue against better defenses? I'll hang up and wait.

I never said it was. Now answer the question.

I never said it did. Besides, you don't get to ask me questions. Now, answer the question.

Not that this will - or should - change anyone's opinion, but I was seated next to him in Shreveport airport for a half hour or so a few years back, and he was beyond "nice". Went out of his way to ask my opinion of SEC teams etc.; answered questions, good sense of humor....very down to earth. I didn't witness any arrogance at all.
