This is how most pro athletes end up broke. Hope it works out for him.

The downtown location is fantastic.

It really is, they are doing excellent things well beyond what you'd expect in NOLA.

Nagomi used to be the best but they are kinda happy being small and just doing the same things over and over again, which is fine.

Kenji is absolutely killing it and changing it up a lot

Glad to see he's doing well for himself. My only encounter with him in person was him mooning a group of us having a crawfish boil at The Woodlands Apartments back in the day

By becoming a business owner? You are so far off the mark on this take.

The toughest, we’ve(wife) got a restaurant and it’s nonstop devotion.
88% of restaurants fail in their first year. Tough, damn right

Kenji Omakese is a dope meal. Best thing about it is I’ll never run into this crowd of dumbasses there.

I also always felt he had a lot of natural abilities and a good physique, but maybe football just wasn’t a huge passion to him.
This is the case.

I've known him for 20+ years. Super nice guy. As physically gifted as a WR can be (outside of Drake Davis). 6'4, could fly, could jump out of the gym, massive hands.

Just never really wanted it enough. He loved being a WR for LSU and everything that came with it, but I don't think he ever put in the work necessary to being the guy.

It's funny, his best friend on the team was a white, back up long snapper from Houston. How many WR1 do you know that become best friends with the rich, white, backup long snapper I wish him nothing but the best, but do always wish he would have pushed it a little more. He would still be collecting paychecks in the NFL if so.

He comes from a well off family, and already does very well at the other one.

He is in no danger of going broke.

Get knocked uncoinsous in a preseason game and waived by the team signed him to a 4 year deal? Then never get another real opportunity after that because he was a 7th round pick and teams don't invest in free agent former 7th round picks?

I knock the guy for lack of effort, but to say that his NFL career somehow proves his lack of physical ability would silly. He had the worst kind of injury at the worst possible time.
