We're a family of 7, just taking the family to eat at McDonald's is $35.00. If I was watching the game by myself then $35.00 is too much for me, But if i was watching it with my family and friends then it doesn't seem to be too much..

what about a 3g connection on a ipad?
Unfortunately 3g on iPad seems to have issues with proxy servers.
The wifi is far more friendly in terms of proxy service ( even that level is only when in comparison with the 3g).

Any sports bar worth a shite in BR/NOLA/Shreveport/Laffy/wherever will buy it.
Get yourself a good seat at the bar/restaurant. Order some food and a pitcher.
And the best part is, since you aren't paying for the game, you can leave whenever the score gets out of hand, the game gets boring, or you get too drunk. Watch the CST re-broadcast on Sunday for all your dissecting and analysis needs.

I gave my tickets to a friend of mine because I'm on call with work this weekend, so I can't leave the NOLA area. So I'm ordering it. Doesn't seem all that much to me.

Nah its not bad, especially if you have a couple buddies over.

not replying directly at anyone.
but if anyone wants to watch via ipad, itouch, iphone, android, app.. etc.. i will have all lsu games @ justin.tv/lsucast
all you need to do is search for the jtv app. download it and install. then just go to my link above on it. it may cost $5 dollars now (use to be free), but it is totally worth it imo.

Anyone know how to get past the watch espn app? It only will let you if you have one of 4 service providers, which I don't have.

Always worth it to watch the TIGERS. Besides, I'm looking for the pass practice.

For an out of state fan, the answer is always a fully qualified "YES".

No but Legends in NYC will be worth it

Buy a ticket and go to the game. It always amazes me when people only go to the "big games". Sure they have more attention but I enjoy a blowout win over small schools just as much. Go see LSU. Not the team they play.
Ignore if you're out of town and can't make it.

Sadder still if you are forced out of the country and @#$@@$% ESPN will block you based on geoIP even if you choose to buy GamePlan. Forced to rely on alternative sources and streamers.
