Miles is 6-1 against Malzahn's offenses at Arkansas and Auburn. The only loss was 2010.

But it sounds like you are...

.

Ironic

Auburn is riding an emotional high. That explains their season's crescendo. The long delay between now and the BCS champ game will hurt them, but we'll have to see how much. It could bring them back down to earth, or it could sustain their current level of play if Malzahn can keep their confidence sky high. Malzahn is a better coach than FSU, but FSU has the better talent. It should be an interesting game.

LSU showed little if any improvement, and at best could be described as a roller coaster ride. (eg A&M vs Ark)

Did you watch Auburn's games this year.

They barely beat Miss St, they pulled a miracle against a decimated UGA team, and they pulled the most memorable ending to a CFB game in the history of the sport against Alabama. That's called luck friend. Some years the stars align for teams and this is Auburn's year. It happens, but let's not pretend that Malzahn's coaching has Auburn dominating everyone, because they aren't. They had ups and downs all year as well.

The reality is, Auburn is very good on both lines. If you want to win in the SEC that is where you do it and Chizik left the cupboard fuller than everyone thought.

Auburn bring there arse in tiger stadium right now and would lose again. They wouldn't be the favorite against us right now in tiger stadium. Honestly luck has been on there side. They will get steam rolled by FSU which not really saying much because i think FSU would steamroll everybody.

I'm not so sure about LSU kicking their arse right now, but I do think FSU will be national champs. But I would love to have either one of their coaches at LSU!

Auburn isn't any better than they were when they lost to LSU. Tip for a last second touchdown, runback of a missed field goal for a touchdown? Those are less than coin toss wins; they are flat out lucky.

I certainly agree that they are lucky. But they were close enough to have luck win the game....unlike LSU vs Bama. LuCK would have had nothing to do with the outcome of that game! Tigers got their arse kicked.

Look stupid. AU was lucky against UGA but all the other wins were legit. They were down 21-7 against Bama and came back to win the game. That was legit.

Obviously you only watched about 3 of their wins.

One young team got better, the other got worse

I hate when dumbasses say this to justify their false negativity. If you cant see a difference between the defense from the 1st half of Miss State to the first 3 quarters of Bama (D line depth is the ONLY reason that game got to where it was) and TAMU then I dont know what to tell you. Even Arkansas when we needed 3 and outs at the end of the game we got 3 and outs. Chavis was finally comfortable with our young secondary to send pressure to end the game rather then letting the team pick us apart. We finally closed out games like 2011.

On offense Magee showed improvement throughout the year, Dural got more and more involved, and when you have a true freshman ready to do what he did on the last drive is great coaching.

Auburn has had some pretty extreme luck this season.
They only beat A&M because JFF came out for a drive late in the fourth quarter. That flipped the game from them behind behind a score to up a score.
They got the extremely flukey play against Georgia that is a once in a program play.
Then the last second play against Bama.
LSU had the opposite of lucky breaks against Ole Miss and UGA
And thats the difference

Yep, all true...

If LSU hold onto the ball against the gumps it is a much different game. LSU is better than the experts on the rant think. Auburn is one-dimensional and uses alot of misdirection and play fakes. Mizzou was very unprepared for it, and not disciplined at all. I don't know if LSU would beat them on a neutral field but in Tiger Stadium I'd take that bet.

They squeaked out wins AT HOME vs Washington State Miss State and Ole Miss. Washington state lost by a touchdown and twice had the ball in the redzone in the fourth one time throwing a pick on 1st and goal from the 8. They needed a drive with 1:36 left to go up on Miss state. To their credit they won all those games. However you dont think having at least one of our 3 point losses at home ESPECIALLY an upset loss vs Ole Miss where the team showed no emotion? I certainly do.

Malzahn was away from aubbie for 2 years. He left after 2010 season to coach at Ark St. for '11 and '12 seasons and returned to aubbie this season

They were two insane plays away from being 9-3 just like us. Quit freaking out, it wasn't our year and we ended up as most of us expected at the beginning of the year.

every time i start to think they are extremely lucky, which they are. but they create their own luck.

i am concerned (for SEC) that FSU is going to skull frick them though.

Auburn had some luck against Ga. and Ala. or they would have 3 losses.

Coaching has a lot to do with it.

Has a hell of a lot to do with it. Don't quit, fight til the end.

If you're luck is bad, it's probably because you've got a defeatist attitude. Some teams overachieve and get these "lucky breaks" because they put themselves in a position to do so.

LSU could be in Auburns position right now. They (AU) just believe they can do it, LSU falters on late drives to lose. Happened 4 times int he past two years.

Who was it that said after the ole miss loss that he didn't have his players coached up?

Someone who didn't watch Zach throw three first half ints. and doesn't know that coaching up doesn't prevent players from fricking up during a game.

Cam coached up Zach pretty good this year. I don't know why the clowns here are picking on Cam.
