We are honestly pretty close, and this will be the first year I feel good about the QB going into the season.

Anyone who thinks our Offensive talent is topnotch has not been watching LSU play these last 3-4 years.
1. As a unit, our O lines have been slightly above average and frequently undermanned.
2. Our quarterbacks have played average at best including Joe Burrow.
3. Our passing game has not been up to snuff when we have played Alabama, the one team standing in our way of an excellent season.
4. In 2018, our running game was not all that as we did not have a feature back like in previous years.
Until we solve the problem listed in #1, the o line, we are not gonna be in the CFP. Even if we do get a topnotch and deep O line, Alabama, the best college football program in history now, still appears on our schedule every year.

Uh yeah we are. Bama is still in our division. We aren't beating them for another 5-6 years.

No we’re not.

Win our bowl game and continue momentum of the program.
Finish this year recruiting class strong including some DL.
We have a veteran group coming back next year with a lighter schedule.
We are out recruiting Bama in 2020.
Finish 11-1 next year.
Keep momentum and and recruiting.

No. They could beat Notre Dame, but would probably lose a competitive game to Clemson. Clemson almost lost to aTm and Syracuse.

We played Bama better than OU,and u can believe Bama knows LSU better than they know OU.So your statement is demonstrably false.Just keep on hating I guess it makes you feel better.

We aren’t even close to the level of play of the top teams.

if you are so miserable with lsu then become a fan of another team
nmever seen so much negativity from people who know so little
i would like for you to be put under thiskinf of scrutiny at your job and see how good you really are or are not
most of you have an overinflated opinion of yourselves
nick Saban said it best about this fan base "Catastrophe Syndrome" it is counter productive

i thinl the staff is showing growth and the team is getting better
neither clemson or bama got this good overnight go back and look at the records when their coaches were hired and trace the results forward

What a miserable fan base.

I agree and both programs made a decision to change and adapt their offenses to a more creative and modern style offense instead of just staying the the boring arse USC offense of the ole days and look at them now. Both programs are miles and miles ahead of everyone else in college football
