Judging from the emails I've received about my statement that "people in the know on the rant" were concerned about LSU, I obviously misjudged who posts on the rant. I assumed all the people posting threads about the team's decline or problems were very knowledgeable as they all have a lot of posts.

Holy shite. We're 10-0 for the first time since most of you jackasses have been alive and yet 40% of the posts are negative. I mean seriously..... We've never had a better team or coach than this one. Ever. Enjoy the ride for gods sake. These kind of teams don't come around very often.

You seem confused as to how a team may not play up to their potential when they don't need to.
It's as if you've never watched football before.
This team spent A LOT of emotional energy last week. They slept through this game to a degree.
IMO, they will not play great next week either.
However, they will kick it into gear for Arkansas, and head into the SECCG knowing they are one win away from playing for it all.
