Lafell dropped less passes than OBJ3

So it would Leslie and Dural on the outside with Landry in the slot? I like. I like.
Haven't read a word on here about OBJ's blocking skills. I think he starts and CLM remarked about how impressive he has been in camp.

i like Odell but he can go rogue at times and is inconsistent

And I COULD POSSIBLY win the lottery... Doesn't mean it will happen
Dural was talked about last year as being our down field threat prior to blowing out his knee. It is highly likely that Dural will see significant playing time this year and there is a much higher probability of him taking over the #3 WR spot than you even getting 3 numbers correct for the lottery.

I hope Dural does step up and at least push Odell a bit.Dissapointed in Beckham's play and hey, this is LSU,competitive environment. The best man is going to win the job,who knows maybe Diarse or Peterson will step up and start.

and even replace Beckham in the starting lineup.

can he catch?
Yes!! One of the aspects of his game that coaches say has pushed him up the depth chart is his ability to make catches no matter where the ball is thrown.

Odell was asked to be the #1 last year and that was an impossible situation for him, not his game.
Once Landry really got rolling, Beckham started looking better.

Last year I really thought Beckham could be everything we hoped RS10 could be, but he seemed to get more inconsistant as the year went on.
I thought Beckham got better as the year went on. early on, seemed like he was trying to do too much. he made some nice catches against Bama, and the big one late vs. Arky on that 3rd down to get us into FG range.

I think Wright is a good downfield threat. Mett could not get him the ball because of pressure or just a poor throw last year. Cam has to like his group of receivers.

I also expect Diarse to climb up the depth chart quickly. He is not blazing fast, but he has good hands and is tough to bring down in the open field. He is another guy having a great spring from all reports I'm seeing. Receiver will definitely be a major upgrade from last season, even if Leslie doesn't make it to campus.

that's correct.
Beckham was very inconsistent up until we had that off weak before bama then it seems like everything began to click after that. Drops significanly decreased from our WRs.
Seems he had somewhat of a sophmore slump, after being very consistent as a freshman. I think he was pressing way too hard trying to step up and be the guy since we didnt have anyone to take tht role other than he and Landry who isnt really a deep threat.
I think our WRs will play lights out this year. Mett will be better, OL will be better, playcalling shoud be better. Tons of experience. Dural, Diarse, Wright, and Boone will all be very good depth guys, and Peterson and possibly Leslie would be more deep threat guys.

IMO Beckhams problem is/was he was playing #1 WR when hes really a slot guy. #2 at best

IMO it will be Leslie, Beckham, and Landry. Dural will provide a great endzone threat, and Boone and Wright add solid depth. I expect to see a lot of those 6 guys.
If we see anyone else, IMO it will be Diarse.

Put him in coach! We had too many dropped passes last year... and Dural has the speed to go the distance on any completion.

Beckham really struggled at times last year, but I am hoping for a much better year from him. He got a case of the dropsies, which can get in your head, but there is no reason he can't fix that. I suspect he will get the chance to start the first few games, at the least.
