More than half are dedicated to student section and other various grad schools affiliated with LSU. Those could be moved.

Other schools don't get seats in the north unless purchased from secondary market.

To be honest aside from the billions of ads that other SEC teams just don’t have, I think the scoreboards are fine. The sound system is crap. The speakers are just on the sides of the North Endzone scoreboard and project out from the side, not into the stadium. Bama meanwhile has speakers lining the stadium and the PA is crystal clear.

I don't think they get as many tickets as you think and they're included in student section not the northeast quadrant of the end zone. That is all season tickets.
I have been sitting in NEZ for the better part of 42 years since I was enrolled at LSU except for the few years before Skip invented the Tradition Fund. From the center of the North to the East side is season tickets not students.

Well then that’s changed from last I remembered. Either way, there really needs to be upgraded.

I don't disagree with this. You just cannot take out half of student seats on the west side of the goal posts and then displace 1000s of paid seating.
You can't take the student seats and not the others because you'd have non symmetrical space.
And that is the problem with Tiger Stadium. Each end zone section was an add on. South end wasn't built like the north.

Even if they just updated the portals in the NEZ so that they all ran in unison from the field to the top would make it look better. I just can’t believe that LSU and the various firms they used on updates didn’t have the forethought to try and keep some of the stadium integrity (coliseum look) in place when they did the upper decks. I know it would have been difficult, but it’s always been an eyesore.
