i still don't understand why they just spend the money on renovating the stadium to be the nicest stadium in the country. then worry about expansion.

I know money is the reason but oh well

If you look at the endzone suites and upper deck at Razorback Stadium, it's probably going to look similar to that.

That wouldn't be terrible. I would kinda like it.

It's basically gonna look like one of the upper decks on top of the south endzone. What are people freaking out about so much?

well...except the suites and club levels will probably have outside seating like the east and west upper decks. those upper deck sections you see at arkansas are temp bleacher seating...i think they hold like 4,000 if i'm not mistaken...but if you notice at the very bottom of those temp bleacher seats, there are perm seats, maybe 4 rows or so, that stretch across the whole endzone...

There's no way it looks like the others. 1,500 general seating is so tiny compared to the 10,000 that the other uppers hold.

Joe Dean's Expansion of the South End Zone had a Parking Garage and seating of 115,000. I know thats been a long time ago. I just want to be bigger than the Gumps!!!!

Did he ever release a rendering of that?

And whoever posted the Arkansas endzone upper deck is spot on. Take out the temporary bleacher seats and make those lower level suit seats open air, and you've got what it'll look like.

There will be some separation between the south UD and the other two. They'll probably build it in such a way that it could potentially be connected, but that's a far bigger challenge and a lot more $$$.

I took a shot at making a quick "rendering." Kind of amateurish but oh well:

Will this do anything to ticket prices you think? Make it cheaper I hope, so this high school teacher/coach can come down and cheer on his Tigers without having to drop a crap load of money!

Nice job.

Not busting your balls but I hope that it is the same "size" as the sideline upper decks. I just would hate for it to be that small I guess.

That's exactly the reason. As it should be. Get more money to meet the current demand, then renovate the shite out of the stadium.

Nice work!

Can anyone that has seen any official proposal renderings compare them to the one MaravichManiac put together?
