that involved closing the road, probably relocating Mike or better integrating his cage with the stadium

How about a clear, plexiglass wall in the visitor's locker room that allows him to pace back and forth as they get dressed pregame?

The upper will have 1,500 seats of which 1,000 will be for Visiting Team, so LSU only needs to sell 500 seats , which will be discounted.. Great plan to open up lower bowl for LSU Fans

Well it does free up 1,000 seats in the lower bowl.

I've always said if I had tons of money I would clear out some seats behind their bench and put in a glass structure for him to pace around in. The opponents would be scared, or distracted

Sounds awesome. The SEZ will be even more imposing.

As long as it looks nothing like the west upper deck from the outside, ill be happy. The outside of the west upper deck looks so turrible and cheap.

They need to make concrete arches the consistent design around the stadium like the outside of the north endzone.

Seriously pick a design and stay to it. Our architects must have ADHD

SEC schools are required to provide approximately 7,000 tickets for visiting conference teams. Alleva said about 1,000 seats currently occupied by visiting fans in Tiger Stadium’s lower bowl will be given over to prospective LSU season ticket holders, while the corresponding number of visiting fans will be moved to the new south upper deck.

About time.

Over the past 2 years or so, I've noticed a definite decrease in the number of visiting fans in the lower bowl.

I think we've moved almost half of the visitor seats to the east upper deck so far.

While some details are still tentative, Alleva said the plan calls for building what will essentially be a freestanding structure that will wrap around the south end of Tiger Stadium and connect the existing east and west upper decks.

I think the fact that they're using the coliseum look complete with arches on the SEZ expansion shows that they want to move back to that design. I'm hoping that when they remodel the east and west sides, they incorporate this design as well.

Unfortunately, the champion's plaza is designed to go with the west facade, so I think it's here to stay.

if they just removed the faux bricks and the rebar over the windows it would be fine.

I know, but they are using similar panels for the plaza walls. I guess they could come back at some point and strip the panels down to the interior concrete walls (at the plaza) but they are about to spend a good bit of money on the panels alone. I just don't see them removing them anytime in the next 10+ years.
