are they really not going to paint the bare concrete on the outside? it doesn't look right mixed with stucco.

LSU brought one of the old valspar paint cans from the NEZ and were told they discontinued that color. They wanted to do stucco instead and ran out of money and the end result is what you see.

Curious are they also putting windows on the lowest portion as well? Looks like it hasn't been done but maybe its the lighting..

Why are there ads below the jumbo screen???

Looks very tacky. The jumbo screens should be taking up that space the ads are wasting.

You're right. I'd much prefer we use digital ads.

Word is they won't, as the first two levels are actually the entrance gates. Putting in windows would make it really hot on game days.

I was walking out of Walk-On's the other day and was wearing a LSU shirt. As I'm walking to my vehicle, this guy approaches me walking from that Staybridge with a beer in his hand. He stopped me and asked if I was a LSU fan. I said yes, he then precedes to tell me that his company is responsible for installing the video boards. He wouldn't shut up about how absolutely amazing it looks. Literally talked 10 minutes about the project. Supposedly, last minute, R. Halliburton asked him if it was possible to extend the west and east ribbon boards by the first game of the season. The gentlemen responded possibly, Ronnie responded let's do it.

The guy was pretty damn drunk. It sounded like they're updating/extending the whole eastern/western ribbon boards.

He's out of Tennessee and is a Vol fan. He also went on how he absolutely loves it down here. Loves the food and have met the nicest people in his life. He also has sideline passes to the Alabama game this year

No. That's the upper part of the lower concourse. Windows there would make it an oven in September & October.

Anyone have any nite pictures of the the new south with lights on inside the concourses and sweets. I for one can't wait to see all that lit. frick the boxes up top we can make adjustments to change how that views on the outside(Rome wasn't built in day) and when we are inside for games people will be up there so really won't be viewable so not as big a deal as most are making it. An
A + class job LSU did on this project adding to what is already the best an most intimidating place to play in all of the World.

Print the fukin shirts

Dumb question time:

Is the locker room renovations for the locker room on the north side of the stadium that LSU uses, or is it for the visitor locker room?

Will LSU still use the north locker room?

I'll hang up and listen.

I think both are being renovated.

I assume smearing shite on the walls in the visitors' locker room can be left until the last minute.

"West Club access corridor"

So the new addition will be connected to the west upper deck? I thought I had read that it wouldn't be, but I could be mistaken.

Does the expansion hang over the upper rows of the lower bowl?

Yes, all three connect at the suite/club level.

But from what I understand unless you have an all-access pass you can't mingle between the three.
