Eventually the sunshine pumpers will realize that Cam is Les and Les is Cam and that the offense will not change.
The only thing that will not change is shitty fans.
It looks like Hurricane Mike, Hurricane Miles, League Chump and JR Hamsterlick all post on the Ravens board.

No the problem is the same tired 10 plays that Cam has in his playbook and telegraphing to the world with personnel what play you are running. It is really hard to execute when the entire defense goes "oh, look, it's Stallworth, get ready for the end around guys!".

Was the O line weak? Yes. So why do you send all your receivers on deep routes when you know speed is not their strength and leave your QB a sitting duck?

Did the run game suffer (due to O line issues as well)? Yep. So why do you stick with the run over and over and over in a game where you are averaging less than 2 yds a carry?

Was Joe having a really off day vs the Bengals in Week 2? Yep. But Rice was having a decent day on the ground, so why do you take the ball out of Rice's hands and call more passing plays?

And now that I re-read your post, what's wrong w/ a glimmer of optimism? Hell, the best part of being a fan of a great program is that you should be able to get excited about next year. F'ing sad that so many start of with criticism and falling sky mentality.

There's nothing wrong with fans being optimistic. I think most fans of every team, in every sport are optimistic going into the next season despite what happened in the prior season. The problem comes when those fans turn thier hope and optimism into unrealistic expectations and conclusions (i.e. instead of being optimistic that Mettenberger would improve the passing game prior to last season, many fans just concluded that he was going to be the best QB at LSU in 20-30 years. When he didn't meet those unrealistic expectations, those same folks were furious and talking about how bad the kid was) Same goes here. Many (including myself) are hopeful that Cameron and the offense will by dynamite next year. But there are also many who EXPECT that just because CC was hired that the offensive woes are over. If he doesn't meet their lofty expectations next year, then the same group will start the "Fire Miles!!, Get a REAL OC" parade once more. All I'm saying is that it looks like a good hire, but let's just see what happens on the field before determining whether it was a good hire or not
