friend I cant help but notice you try to drag every disagreement down this way. this is not how humans have conversations. saying LOL all the time is a dullard's rhetorical gambit meant to imply the point made was laughable, without making a counterpoint.

i blame myself for feeding the troll

You said we’d land top recruits because we have money. I asked you how that would change anything since other teams also have money. You refused to answer, just kept repeating the same nonsense. Today’s example is what I meant by money not being enough but you can’t see past your nose so you make excuses and arguments like a child and now you’re trying to turn you being wrong into me being a big meanie. It’s pathetic buddy, grow up.

McMahon can’t promise us to be a top 14 sec team next season.

The McMen can’t promise we’ll sign anyone worth a frick with an influx of money.

So I was trying to drive this point the other night by saying the Chest lost was bigger than people want to believe. Say we add up the incoming freshman with the guys staying and whoever we get from the transfer portal, not having 11-12 players is a big deal. For one, you never know if the freshman you are recruiting are physically or mentally ready to play year one. Second, there is no guarantee the 4 transfer targets will pan out or can play at an SEC level, we for sure seen this happen.two examples :
1. Michigan State’s bench has outscored there starters in both games this tourney I believe, what a luxury to have right?
2. I think back to the half time leads we had or games we were neck to neck in that we let slip away, having a competent bench could have possibly haves us few more wins during conference play.
3. Oh I almost forgot, the Reed injury definitely hurt our depth and that’s something you can’t see comming but rather be prepared for if it does. My point is, getting just 8-9 guys who can play is risky buisness, hate him or whatever but losing kids like chest hurts.

He still has to evaluate the talent before he offers $$. He has proven he lacks in the department. Putting off the inevitable now that MacHallman's coaching ability has a reputation.

I don't slight your thoughts here, however, I think halftime and coaching adjustments were much more impactful than lack of depth.

It happened too often to assume every OTHER team had depth that we didn't.

While not always the case - when the problem is everyone else, the problem is probably you.

I agree, his adjustments suck, I’m just saying the depth would help, as long as I’ve been watching basketball, he’s one of the worst at adjustments I’ve ever seen

I get you. Depth is always great to have. It can make huge differences in games and strategy.

But a lot of teams just run 7/8, lucky to run 9 deep. Getting blown out in 2nd halves isn't just a depth issue. It's a coaching issue.
