No shite. I hate all Texas teams, and all Atlanta teams. Who am I supposed to root for? I've been a fan of the Red Sox since around '92. And I always have my sox hat on. That makes me a tool?

I'm a Red Sox fan as well. My connection with them began, oddly enough, from my passion as a Saint's fan. I used to watch Saints players become good then inevitably leave the team because we weren't willing to pay them what some big market team was willing to pay. This is why I hated the New York Yankees, because they never developed anyone. They waited for others to do that, then every off season they would add another one or two allstars to their roster. In short I started to like the Red Sox because of the Saints and frick the Yankees and their all star team. If that makes any sense.

Dude, most of the Sox's fans I know just hated the Yankees and rooted for their arch enemy. All hell broke loose when they won it all. But.....

The Sox's farm system has been vastly superior to them for 10 years. The payroll is big because they have good players. And they developed quite a few of those players.

Nah I hate the fricking yanks and sox, I'm a braves fan and grew up going to lots of o's game before this sox nation showed up to every road game used to maybe see a few thousand at a game now half every ball park is full of em.
