Neboisha Bukomirivich. He finished his career at LSU at least seven years (1986) before Geert Hammink and Roman Rubchenko played on the same team (1992-93).

I know I've told this story before but I got into a drinking contest with him in Tigerland back in the early 90s. I had been going to beat-the-clock at The Tiger multiple times a week for a few years and my alcohol tolerance was at an all-time high and I thought I could take him. It did not turn out well

Yes, that's the one!

I lived on Brightside View between 87 - 91. It wasn't Roman Rubchenko.

Looking cooler in that pic vs 3am in Broussard Hall with a power hedge clipper and vampire mask jumped on him;)

One of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Geert learned behind Stanley Robert's and Shaq. And by his senior year he was more than good. I'm proud of him.

Yes, that is something that will never happen again, an NBA team picking three centers from the same school in the first round three years in a row.

Bought a ball python as a pet in late college years for what reason I don’t remember. Anyway I named him Geert.

He used to come to the apartment pool on Brightside View with another basketball player (Russian player at the time, can't remember name).

The chances we were briefly neighbors is now greater than 0%. I don't remember interacting with him, but we weren't at the pool very often.

He dated two of the hottest black twins that I’ve ever seen.

Good ole Geert. We were at LSU at the same time (87-91). I would often pass him at the same place on campus near the design building off the quad and we'd smile and say hi most days. I'm lugging around my overstuffed Jansport and he had only a thin spiral notebook.

He may have made the most improvement of any LSU player I can ever remember from when he started to when he finished. He was flat out awful when he got here and ended up being a late first round pick I think?
