Shout out to my Dad also! He'd love to be sharing our excitement building up to this epic battle, and the only thing I'd love more than watching us stomp the bammers is to watch it with him.

and

Geaux Dad!

My son, who passed at the age of 15. He loved LSU football ... and baseball ... and basketball.

RIP son, and if you can blow a few winds of fortune their way, go for it!

My Dad and my Mom. Both were huge fans. One of my favorite stories was they were at the LSU - Ole Piss Halloween game and my mom was pregnant, hot, tired and conviced my Dad to leave before the end of the game. Needless to say as they were walking to the car they heard the crowd roar and my Dad just took off running to the car to listen on the radio - so he missed Billy Cannon's run - he never let my Mom forget that one and it was always a good LSU family story to tell.

My mom. I posted back in 07 on here

LINK

I lived with her all my life up until college and she used to put up with me screaming and cussing at the tv for lsu football, basketball and baseball. I was at the BCS NC game in 08 and called her after the game, as well as the Sugar Bowl in 04 when we beat Oklahoma. I wish she could have been there, but it was great to share that moment with her. I know she will be looking down on the Tigers.

My mom's best friend, died of ovarian cancer in 2010.

Can't post without mentioning Keldar ... by the way, don't anyone be an arse about it.

And there is someone on here -- although I don't know him -- who's daughter died and he posted about the anniversary of her death a while ago.

Heaven will be filled with Tiger Angels protecting our young men and perhaps blowing the field goals/extra points between the uprights if need be.

My father, who passed in 1998, was the biggest TIGER fan ever!!! He was diabetic and had a stroke which paralyzed him. He would lay in the bed and watch LSU, football, basketball, baseball...whatever sport he could get. If he couldn't get it on TV he would make us load him up and he would find a hotel that had cable tv that he could find the game on! After a few years he lost his sight to diabetic complications so he would just listen to Hawthorn on the radio. He was the best dad ever and I know that Nov. 5th he will be shouting GEAUX TIGERS from Heaven!!!

How can I forget my best friend's dad ... had to be put on a ventilator and his last words were "GEAUX TIGERS" ... the day before the Ole Miss game I think it was in 2006. Died 3 days before Christmas that same year.
