The general consensus around Oklahoma right now is 2014 vs Alabama. They were 17.5 point underdogs and ended up winning by 14. Every conversation that I've had/heard they feel like it will be a similar outcome because of how heavily favored we are. They also feel that we are very distracted as a team due to the numerous awards the past few days. I reside in Oklahoma City, roughly 25 minutes from Norman.

This tells me that they know nothing about Burrow.

They’re underestimating Os will to win. The dude will have the team focused and dialed in.

Maybe but bama had an average QB and their star players were not that good plus bama in the past does not get hyped when not playing for the Natty. Lsu is complete opposite from bama in 2014. Lsu has one thing on their minds and that's Oklahoma.

Just tell them to look in the mirror and ask them selves this..... Would K-State best LSU? Would LSU have to buckle down to squeak out a win vs Baylor? The answer is Hell No.

OU is gonna be dominated in all aspects of the game, PERIOD.

They have to rationalize a puncher’s chance.

God bless ‘em.

This year is nothing like the 2014 SB. Bama was being Bama and tried to mail it in and OU punched them in the mouth. After that game Bama fans gave it the old “we couldn’t get up for that game because we expected to be in the Natty game”. My experience with LSU fans is that if OU managed to win LSU fans would man up and take it in stride. Bama sucks...

That 2014 Alabama team should have lost to a Brandon Jennings led LSU team.

I agree with this point. O needs to run the teams dicks in the dirt on first practice Monday to wash those award dreams out of their memory banks and get them focused again.

hurts is in New York.

Both teams had the week off. They could be drinking, fighting and chasing women. Instead they are getting notoriety

It took me a few minutes to figure out you were referring to a Jan 2014 bowl game. All I remembered was Alabama lost to Ohio State in the 2014 season.

The gut feeling among OU non-delusional fans is they are hopeful but not expecting to win.

Hence, the reason OU is still trying to sell their ticket allotment.
