If u basing your team on the bama win u really are an idiot. Every body is beating bama this year. Get ready for a beat down. Are u going be back on the rant after the game?

This

you obviously dont know shite about baseball because it was LSU who used every available arm to beat SLU last year, including bringing matty ott in for the save

Matty Ott didn't pitch against SLU last year. And because of the score (four run lead with nobody on base), it would not have been a "save" opportunity anyway. And LSU didn't use "every available arm."

Other than that, your statement is correct.

2 years ago when he was a freshmen that didn't have near the rep he does now?
And what was the score of the game 2 years ago, wasn't it a blowout?

Ya the Ott game was when slu was safe at first aNd would have tied the game but the ump missed the call so run didn't count game over

Nope. See attached box score. SE didn't score again after the 5th. Alsup came into the game in the 6th, LaSuzzo and Bertuccini in the 7th and 8th and Ranaudo in the 9th. We were already ahead 9-4 by the end of the 7th. If you remember, Ranaudo had been somewhat injured and struggling, hence the reason for giving him some work.

That was in 2009 and was Ott Freshman year with the Tigers.

Yeah, Southeastern is always such a hurdle on our schedule. Being that it's one of those closet powerhouses that doesn't ever even sniff post-season play, the amount that SLU causes our RPI to plummet is drastically affected by a win or loss.

still, he's a closer, you can bring your closer in for midweek games and not waste their arms, don't see the problem there
