Hoping Chris Curry can be a Jeremy Hill type back for us.

I see him more as a Spencer Ware type back.

CEH will be hard to get a hand on as a defender. His low center of gravity should also help him bounce off tacklers and spin out of alot of tackles.

Curry will have that same low center of gravity but more of a mean streak. They will get it done.

I was thinking more of a Kenny Irons type back.

Blast from the past. Some similarities there.

Jeremy Hill had considerable top end speed. I'm not sure Curry will be outrunning the secondary like Hill could.

ETA: I know it seems lazy to compare him to Marshawn Lynch, but the similarities in running style and mentality are obvious.

Thanks for link to the dance story. Hadn't heard about that. I expect him to contribute heavily this year, along with CEH.

Curry’s ability to change direction is good. So is Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Nick is ready though. He has the speed to break big runs. He has been solid all camp and will be the starting RB vs Miami imo. With our mammoth Oline people are sleeping on NB. He avg like 7 yards a carry n limited action last season. If he doesn’t fumble he will get more opportunities this year

Add Brosette to CEH & Curry and you got a nice 3 headed monster you can rotate in and out and keep fresh. I like the possibilities the 3 of them can give the offense if the line can open some holes for them

Will be interesting to see who ends up getting more carries.

Looking at his Hudl film he is a banger. Hill was very similar to Fournette in that he was big but fast. At LSU I do not recall anyone catching Hill from behind once he got to green space in a footrace. I dont believe Curry has that kind of speed - could be wrong.

He bounces off tackles just like Lynch, even his strides remind me of Lynch.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Provens takes a RS before we are gone. But also wouldn’t surprise me if he plays %25 of snaps every game. We shall see
