I don't think they're spoiled brats but for whatever reason, I agree, they have quit on him. They're just going through the motions and they look like they just want this season to be over. Coaches might want it over too. How else do you explain trying to steal second late in the game down 7 runs. Don't expect too much this weekend because these guys want it over and frankly they don't have enough balls to put whatever the problems are behind them and go out and represent themselves and LSU like they should. For the most part the majority of the good Tiger fans still bleed purple and gold and still believe. Unfortunately, these guys do not.

Just forecasting the 2011 roster we don't have a true 1B right now and and depending on how the draft hurts us, we may not going into the fall

it's just a thought, obviously he'll have to improve his hitting A LOT

“For the life of me, I can’t understand how a kid can’t field the ball cleanly when we’re playing on carpeting,” LSU coach Paul Mainieri said. “There was no bad bounce, nothing. It’s a double play and we fumble the ball.”

What was the context of this quote? If it was in reference to last night's game ... WTF? The final score was 9-1. I'm pretty sure one error didn't result in the Tigers stinking it up at the plate.

Did you watch the game?

If so, that error was obviously a huge play, just as big as Hanover not converting with the bases loaded

I'm betting on Dozar at 1st before Delatte. Dozar played 1st in mop-up time last year.

we need serious upgrades at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Pitching staff for next year....and those players are not on the roster right now

If he was talking about Delette, then why wasn't Edward in? Whose fault is that?

This year, he's Gibbs' backup, mainly because we don't have anyone else. But he's not really a catcher, and I don't think PM has any intention of trying to make him one.

Didn't watch the game (not televised in North Carolina). I was following GMorgan's PBP, but didn't recall this particular play.

Sorry, but that's on delatte, period.

+1... are you related to the kid or something? everyone who was watching the game saw that play and thought the same thing.

Can't have a 1B who's an offensive liability.

Mainieri needs to clean house again like he did after his 1st year here. We have a lot of guys on the team who don't have the mental toughness to compete in this league.
