They are not a good hitting team

They're not hitting for average but they appear to be opportunity hitters. They're scoring runs with a team batting average around .250.

They've scored as many runs as they have hits.

Funny stat on Poche so far this season:

Opponent Batting Average each time thru the order:
1) .000
2) .000
3) .000
4) 1.000

They are the same players that hit .302 as a team last year. They are off to a slow start at .252 right now, but don't think they can't hit.

The problem is Sunday versus Texas Tech. TT is a good hitting team and we better pitch well on Sunday. Friday will most likely be won by the team who makes the fewest mistakes, even small mistakes. We are gonna win on Saturday IF we play our average game which I think we will. SUNDAY is the day I'm most worried about LSU losing.

Will be interesting to see if CPM slides Poche to Sun for favorable match-up. At any rate I'm sure the FR will have a quick hook, hopefully he WILL NOT need it, and Gilbert would be the next man up.
