To roughly 290 yards passing, THREE INTs, and even more amazing...

Just 27 yards rushing.

How was LSU's Defense able to out perform the Mighty Nick Saban's Defense? Let's also not forget this was an 11AM kickoff on the road as well.

What do you think was the difference? Obviously Miles isn't nearly as good of a coach as Saban, so LSU's freshman must be better, I guess.

Oh wait, this had to be Chief's work, correct? Miles is too stupid to understand how to stop Johnny Football. Only Saban is smart enough for that.

"The Only Difference Between Miles and Saban Is A Mulligan"!

And and easy schedule as well...

What is the second highest passing output by a QB all year against LSU?

LSU defense is better equipped to contain that type of offense. It's why I never just assumed Bama would've shut down Oregon or Okie last year. Bama beats aTm everytime if we apply the eye test.

LSU gave Bama the blueprint to win, but they are so arrogant that I guess they figured they could do it on their own. Silly gumps.

Saban defensive scheme in the first quarter was terrible. His slower D-ends were pushing up the field and he was blitzing from one side. Manziel had no intentions on passing when he would see this. He would just drop back, wait on the D-ends to over commit and the field to clear then gash them. After the First quarter Bama handled him about as well as anyone else but it was too late at the point.

I have two reasons for you.

1) LSU hangover is a bitch. Look at SC after playing us.

2) That was the second spread team they played that could compete. They played Mich but let's be honest here they are garbage. It's a rarity to see the spread ran to a perfection and JF does it. I know Alabama's D is made for stoping fast teams but there is such a thing as over confidence and a LSU hangover.

We should have won and it kills me that they beat us in 90 sec. WTF prevent D? Make a play, Loston has been pissing me off with all the blown assignments and really shitty angles. I guess we know what Raymond doesn't do in guys.

maybe Manziel just focused on cutting down his mistakes. he's gone 3 games without an INT since then, while throwing 6 over a 3-game stretch right before that.

That option play action was awesome. Every now and then you see a play that makes you like a players style and ability to make the position. He sold that option so well and then cocked back and threw it.

Why didn't we run the option play action pass with Jefferson in the championship? You gotta figure that whole D would have bit hard on the option.

Perhaps had Bama played another ranked team this year, this would not have happened?

This, IMO, is a sad excuse, especially when you consider the hype surrounding Bama. Once again, they lose their most important HOME game of the season. I'm not buying it. This is the mighty Saban and his defense.

And A&M was the first spread team we played, correct? On the road as well, right after our USCe "hangover". We had just beaten a top 10 team at home the week before. Why weren't we "hungover"? Hell, we held aTm to less points in the entire game than the mighty Saban held them to at the end of the first quarter...

This I can agree with. Loston has not played up to his supposed potential. He got burned a lot this past weekend as well. We miss the Badger. Perhaps someone will step up next season.

We beat SC arse all game, the score was close but all of our confidence was regained after that UF loss. We got a little nicked but not hungover because we dominated.

We held aTm because they were, like LSU, still working their own kinks out. John Chavis "Mustang" package is phenomenal as well. We just came off a very emotional win against SC and we showed up to aTm ready to play, calm, cool and collected. A testament to how well our offense played.

My bottom line is we dominated Alabama for 58 min and 30 seconds. We beat their defense up all game long and then they had to go play a fantastic spread team right after. This equals LSU hangover, your welcome aTm fans.

Yeah, I'm giving the Chief most of the credit here, just like he takes most of the blame for giving up the two TD's before the half and at the end of the Bama game. Yep.

Now, all the credit in the world goes to Miles for bringing him in.

Insecure post.

Miles is a man who is paid millions to coach a major college football team. I am sure he can handle the criticism from TD without your input.

TD is a legit forum for fans to express their frustration. Sometimes the fans are correct most often they are not.

By the way, this "hangover" stuff is crap.

Miles and his staff do make mistakes as well as players dont execute properly.

All things considered, Miles does a good job and I am satasfied with his performance. However if he screws up then we can talk about it.

Oh and our 2 mn. D is really sucking. Dont really know who is to blame. I still like Chavis and Miles but dont like the D play calling at the end of games.

Chavis also adjusted much faster than Bama did. If you remember, aTm went through our defense like a hot knife through butter on their first drive, but Chavis made the adjustments and pretty much slowed their offense after that. Took Darlin Nicky three quick slaps in the face before he was able to do the same!

You don't believe in the "HANGOVER"? Have overplayed serious football in college? I have and there is such thing as a hangover buddy.

When you play a team that is just about your equalizer and you both are just beating the shite out of each other there is such a thing. It usually falls to the team that lost/got physically dominated(Alabama in the LSU game) the epic match up. Everyone's dogshit tired on both sides, little nagging Injuries make you practice a little soft. The coach might take mercy and let you practice in shells if you won or lost and really banged up. Bottom line it has to do with an unproductive week in practice. After LSU played bama ole Nicky had a lot to fix on that D and a little on the O-Line.

Their is such thing as a football hangover.

A&M took it to UF, LSU, and Bama in the first halves of those games. UF and LSU made defensive adjustments and won their games. Bama didn't

If y'all noticed, A&M took a page from LSU and left two RBs in the backfield to protect the passer. LSU not only showed how to stop A&Ms offense, but LSU showed how to slow down Bama's pass rush. And people say Miles is dumb.
