USCe has one of the nicest stadiums in the country. It's a fantastic venue.

They are not very good this year. We need to take 2 at least.

Crowd isn't much of a factor there like it is at A&M or the landmass schools.

No kidding. Very nice!

A sweep if we get good sunday pitching!

Have heard the same about their stadium. Get to see it myself tomorrow. Hopefully we can grab at least 2 of the 3 games.

I did FIP calculations (hopefully correctly) for the 5 starters named for the series:

Hess (LSU) - 3.71 ERA, 4.18 FIP
Hilliard (LSU) - 1.75 ERA, 3.49 FIP

Chapman (USC) - 3.93 ERA, 4.09 FIP
Hill (USC) - 4.65 ERA, 4.32 FIP
Morris (USC) - 3.61 ERA, 4.72 FIP

ETA: Hilliard is outperforming his FIP by the most of the five, but he's also got the lowest FIP. Only Hill seems to be poised for a positive regression.

This is using NCAA stats as of 4/19. So the FIP constant I used takes into account everyone, not just SEC pitchers in SEC games.

We need to take 2, but I have a feeling we only get 1. I think the injuries are starting to take a toll. Now we have Gilbert out and potentially Feduccia.

Good stuff project.
My metrics say we are about a decent amount better than usc on a neutral field, but the gap gets closer when you factor in usc being at home. With the pitching matchups, i think hess is slightly better than chapman and hilliard having a slight edge on hill, i think we can win 2 this weekend
