Thoughts on Texas Live! for pre/during/post game activities?

2I thought that was about one of the coolest places to watch games at. Our group ended up there by accident and stayed all day Saturday and went there post game on Sunday. We always had quick service even when it was packed and the amount of options they had there were awesome. For those who know is it relatively new? I feel like I don't remember it being a thing in 2013 when we played TCU.

Regardless of the heat, people will always make it a point to setup tents and drink their booze/cook their food before, during and after the game.

I don't see it as a replacement. There's a joy in being outside, grilling with your buddies, and having your own tv/furniture setup on the same spot on campus every week. It's merely another option. Plus some of LSUs tailgating setups are pretty god damn extravagant.

Cowboys had nothing to do with Texas Live.
The font for Texas Live is even the same as the Rangers. It is being built in conjunction with the new ballpark and the part that’s finished is only phase 1.
