i honestly thought using RS in an option offense was being saved for a year changing situation . then i thought it was being saved for later and a more important game, and later, later, and later and meanwhile JJ tries to run the option

Piratezac I have probably followed Shepard just as much or more than anyone on this board! So much that I've never seen you post anything on him! He can pass and I've posted videos of it and been down this road a ton of times already on this board. Shepard worked with an ex-pro quarterback On timing routes and pro style passing before being recruited and coming to the Nike camp here at Lsu! He has said many times that people think he can't throw because he was so dynamic with his feet due to the style offense his high school ran! Is he the best passer no! But definately can bring more to the table than Lee.

I am not saying RS is stupid. Only that he may not know the offense as well as JL at this time. He may be a better athlete but there is more to being a QB at the SEC level than just being a good athlete.

JL has been outperforming him in practice.

Where did I hear this before...oh yea, ALL last year. If practice is more imporatant than games, shouldn't we be spending money to go to watch practice and not the actual GAMES! It is all about performing on the big stage. History often repeats itself (see JJ not throwing vs Tulane followed by RS doing the same thing). Stupid is as stupid does. The gumps are loving Les Miles.
