WRONG! It is half empty because our "fans" are more concerned about being stuck in traffic a few weekends a year than actually cheering for the Tigers.

Not to be the "Link?" jerk, but I am interested to see a source on this. The Ole Miss and Alabama games were painfully long, especially considering that the first three quarters of the Alabama game flew by. There is no way either was under 3.5 hours.
However, I can understand and appreciate the marquee match-ups taking longer. My complaint is that a televised Jacksonville St. game takes as long as any SEC game.
ETA. You were right, MS was the longest home game at 3:32. I guess 4 hours was an exaggeration. The shortest game was Alabama at 3:08. Jacksonville State and USM clocked in at 3:14 and 3:11 respectively. It is unconscionable for an hour of game play to take that long. Particularly for games like Jacksonville State and USM.

I agree, but my point is the 4 hour game myth hasn't held true for the most part, at least for LSU. Even our most recent home games on TigerVision were just under 3 hours.
Last season, game length was put forth as a reason for fans leaving early, so I checked LSUSports.net box scores out of curiosity. The vast majority of games in 2015 and 2016 fell around 3:10-20.
IIRC the Florida game was our longest home game in 2015 at 3:36.
ETA: Wasn't meaning to call you out specifically. Game length is a common complaint about college football, and while there are some criminally long games every season, I think it's been conflated into more of an issue than it actually is.

Personally I think there is 3 games worth attending all year. Auburn, Arkansas, and A&M.
What are your thoughts? Do you ever think the problem will result in a change?
I think its a good home schedule. The Auburn game has the potential to be a big one. I think they'll be 6-0 in the top 10 when they come to BR.
Syracuse and Troy are exponentially better non conference games than we've been served up lately.

The schedule is a complete piece of shite. Losing Florida game sucks. Plus from what I can tell we will still pay the same as last season for a full season with one less home game.
