If you got by just recruiting rankings, Auburn has "stolen" more top recruits from us in head to head battles than Bama has recently.

Because from 1970 to 1999 LSU never beat them in TS
Because they are easily the most cockiest fanbase I have ever encountered (I have been to ALL SEC venues except Mizzou. Been to Notre Dame, Va Tech, ASU, Zona, UDUB) Easily the biggest reason why I can't stand them
Because they seem to benefit greatly from "objective" officials repeatedly
Because of their "Hey nickname we just beat the hell out of you" cheer
Because Nick Saban is there (Honestly, I don't really care all that much, but it doesn't help for my hatred towards the school)
Because they lucked into the National Title game last year and seem to be doing it again.
Could probably list a lot more, but that is just off the top of my head.

Why do you all seem so hell bent on Alabama not having success
Cause so many here have tiny penises that they are insecure.... and take it out on their football watching?

I contend that my answer is the best.

Auburn got TWO players
Bama has won out on on A LOT more

Simple answer. Because we recruit against them and it is difficult to keep everyone in state when someone 6 hours away wins 3 out of the last 4 National Championships.
Dead on.
ETA: Also I mean sure rooting for Oregon and K-State to lose last week may help LSU get to the BCS but that's only if Bama loses tomorrow and that's highly unlikely. Therefore that was an unacceptable risk so I rooted like hell for Oregon and K-State to win.

This.
Listen to 15 minutes of the Finebaum show. If you can't figure out why people would not want to see them win, well I don't know what to tell you.

Well Bama, LSU, and UF are tied in the BCS era at 2 a piece. Why the frick would I want them to win a third, meaning LSU could, at best, TIE for most NC's in the BCS era?
Worst case scenario is Bama vs UF in the NC, which isn't THAT unlikely.
I don't understand why anyone who claims to be an LSU fan values the SEC streak so much that they would rather the streak stay alive knowing it gives our biggest rival 3 NC's in 4 years.

Because the OP is probably 20 years old that has no idea about the tradition of the Alabama LSU rivalry or ever stepped foot in "T-Town".
He's just an above average fan that supports his team through and through.
I fricking hate every SEC team, but can't stand fAlabama or Auburn.

That's why I mentioned only "top" recruits and "recruiting rankings" in most post.

They've lucked into at least 3 others. First of all, they are the only D-Bags that openly brag about pre poll era titles. National Titles from when Yale was a power house really don't count. But aside from that there is 73 where they lost to Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl but split the title. USC beat them in B-Ham 24-14 in 78 but they split the title with them.
And well, like someone else said frick BAMA!

it hurts LSU recruiting when bama keeps winning

Two words from those of us living in Alabama - "arrogant entitlement".

I think Trent Richardson and Landon Collins were two pretty top recruits, don't you?

Best answer yet. Anyone who has sat in their or our own stadium and listened to their shite after they beat you understands this. I've had this pleasure all too many times.

If Bama wins, it negatively affects LSU. For those people who still beat their chest and chant SEC...SEC are the same fans whose team will not be competing for a title anytime soon. We are the best conference and are superior, but it now comes down to what can you do within the conference that sets you apart. Bama has won 2 of 3 Natty's and is on path for a possible 3rd. As an LSU fan, that should stick in your craw.

Winner winner chicken dinner
Their fans are obnoxious, rude and entitled (5 of their "national championships" are disputable at best, if not outright bogus). Winning another for 3 in 4 years would just make them even worse.

Richardson's from Florida. Eddie Lacy is good but again, wasn't head to head with LSU. We already had 3 top commits before he signed LOI. Believe me, I get the part about LSUs need to keep Bama out of Louisiana; I mentioned Auburn as an example that, contrary to myth, Saban is not the only SEC player in the Louisiana recruiting game.
