Even without a championship this could be a fantastic year.

That is true. I predicted 6-6.

We were extremely lucky in 08 to beat Auburn on J Lee's TD pass to Chris Mitchell. If not for that, we likely end the season 6-6 going into the bowl game.

Chris Mitchell, really? Does the name Demetrius Byrd ring any bells.

Yes really!

Did you notice the year in question genius? Did J Lee throw that pass in '07' to Byrd? I realize that both he and Flynn are white QBs, but it wasn't even the same year.

Oh you poor poor people of little faith... The Baconators will not put up more than 10 points on us... AND if they do, we will still out score them...

I have not guessed a game wrong this season, so don't go against me

Like the man said earlier. Ole Miss first. Lose that one and this thread is mute.

When LSU got pressure on Mallett last season he was terrible. LSU backed off in the 2nd half and he picked LSU apart.

Getting pressure on Mallett with as few pass rushes as possible is the key against Arkansas. LSU has the ability to do that with the athletes they have on defense this season.

LSU will probably be a 7pt underdog in that game.

Even funnier part is he actually edited his post at first too.

This is as epic a fail as that dude on here telling me he's a former starting safety for LSU and I need to come meet him up and call him a walk-on to his face.

I removed it cause I realize I was wrong. It was a mistake, I'm sure you've never made one.

Oh I guess I will get involved here. The pass to win the game in '08 was to Brandon Lafell. Mitchell caught Lee's first TD pass earlier in the game. Byrd also caught a TD pass in that game but it was throw by Keliand Williams.

You say we were extremely lucky to beat AU on that pass (or at least the one you meant to refer to). So when we make a good play it is luck, but when we make bad plays it is simply bad coaching or bad playing? This is a recurring theme in your posts and predictions. You somehow don't see yourself as "negative" only a realist as opposed to all us rainbow chasers.

You would be better served taking another look at yourself. Most of your predictions and observations seem to be "reasonable" only if you discount your personal bias. I don't know why you are so negative. Perhaps it is just your personlality or your life situation, I won't speculate on the reasons or your sexuality as some of the hotter heads on here might.

I just know that two people can watch the exact same play or the same game and one who is looking for the positives will take away something quite different than the one who is looking for the negatives.

Your penchant for looking for only the negative led you to make predictions preseason and early season that really look stupid now in retrospect. You are making that same mistake now. You are worrying about the future of this years team by starting from your negative assumptions and you are selling them short. Does our team have flaws? Sure it does, but so does every other team in the country, especially Ole Miss AND Ark. Ark has a history as a TEAM of failing in big games that have great importance to BOTH teams. USC overcame those same demons this weekend against Fla, but until I see Ark actually do it, I will bet against them pulling it off.

Your system of predicting the outcome of the season and of individual games has proven to be very flawed. I would recommend that until you are actually right about something, you should just read posts instead of writing them.

Is this intended for me? That wouldn't make sense.

I'll give it a whirl: Our defense is better than any they've faced?

Did you even read the discussion that was going on in regards to that? At all? Or just look at the one quote he cited?

It was a good pass, but the guy released the pass while being hit which affected the pass. It worked out for us and completely changed the outlook of the game. We weren't lucky to beat Auburn that year, but I was just referencing some plays that went our way.

Until that point, we weren't moving the ball well and had scored 3 points. We were down 11 points. It changed the outlook of the game and was fortunate, aka a good bounce for the LSU Tigers.

If you read the full debate, I didn't mean it in the sense we were lucky to win the game.
