He said Thompson had a strong arm but had not been accurate throwing to 1st base. He never said Helmers was a better player than Thompson. Thompson has always been in the running for the starting SS and 3rd base spots

100% a State fan. Love both baseball teams tho. State and LSU baseball are like peanut butter and jelly and we are the SEC founding fathers of baseball. No one does it like us
