Shocking early loss to State.

I'm assuming ugly wins vs. Vandy and Missouri. Then get embarrassed by the first good team we play (Florida this year, Auburn in 2014).

We'll figure out our defense (we simply won't need to run zone against every other team, and no one will else is going to pass 90% of the time). Having our best player return will help.

We'll develop a running game, find out what our limited QB can do, and finally get a decent win vs. USCe (just like against Florida in 2014).

We'll pull an upset vs. Auburn (like Ole Miss in '14).

Hopefully keep it close vs. Alabama, and then grab 2 wins vs. Arky, A&M, and Ole Miss.

That puts us at 6-4. Could be worse.

So long as we see marked improvement and development every game I will be happy

Yea I guess that's the point. Players stepped up in 2014, and we found what we did well to salvage the season.

This is a much better team offensively than 2014.

Hopefully we make great improvement each week and do better than 6-4. If not, we are a young team with talented players getting a lot of experience. May be the best thing to happen to insure next year's team kicks arse.

Probably, but Fournette running behind La’el Collins is nothing to sneeze at.

Honestly a very realistic prediction.

Hopefully next year goes much better than 2015 though.

shite. I'm not expecting anything from this team until they show it on the field. I damn sure wasn't expecting the clusterfrick/trainwreck that I witnessed last Saturday. We will see what happens, but I always hope for the best bc I know how much talent we have on our team. I am hoping that last weekend was a one-time anomaly, but we will see. Geaux Tigers regardless.

I think LSU could go 6-4 or better if Brennan just threw the ball to Arik Gilbert almost every down. There aren’t more than 4 teams who have the DBs/LBs who could match up with Gilbert going for the ball even in a double team and when they know it’s coming.

Of course I’m not calling for that, but it’s a threat that needs to be maximized.

Yeah, I hate to say it or possibly see it happen, but I think we definitely lose to bama and Florida. I hope we split one and one vs auburn and Texas am, but I'm not holding my breath as both of those are away games. I see us with 4 losses. frick. Come on tigers. We are better than this bullshite.

Not really. O has had awful moments in his career and we’ve always rebounded strongly from them. I’m sick over losing to Mississippi State, but I also wanted O fired immediately after the Troy loss and look where he took us.

It’s not realistic to expect us to be complete trash this year based off of his track record. We could very well finish 6-4 but I don’t think 7-3 or 8-2 would be completely crazy given our talent level

Nothing like drawing broad sweeping conclusions about how the season will play out after one game.

Why not do 2017? Was also a shocking loss to State.
