Seems like a perfectly good reason to grease the wheels if you ask me

Legislators should decide to fund/not fund LSU properly based upon legitimate factors.

If tickets to a super regional baseball game sway their votes one way or another on higher education, then God help us.

Yes, and elected officials should not allow those who give major contributions to their campaigns to influence their votes while in office.

Grow up. Welcome to the real world. This is a business transaction. Legislators have something LSU wants, and LSU is building a relationship with them with what they have at their disposal.

Jobs have perks? Wasn't that what Marie Antoinette said to Louis XVI, just before she went off to the Bastille? People are fed up with the leges and all their "perks" for doing very little useful, so I can see why they are complaining.

Then vote them out of office. And when the next guy that comes in gets the same perks, you can vote them out too.

It does have a set price, and that price is being paid in full

The ticket price does. The right of first refusal does not and is not offered to the general public. Like I said, many fans would happily pay a monetary sum for that opportunity, which gives it value.

No the red shirts behind home plate will be because LSU used that section for the visitors tickets. Which means I have no idea yet where my seats will be.

This is fantastic in theory, but I still haven't found a way to get more than one vote.

i guess j should be also mad season ticket holders get a shot before me. Or you could stop your witch hunt and realize some people get first crack at tickets. If this was a one time thing and we were the only school that does it, I could maybe see being upset. But this is just not a big deal. And it certainly isn't corruption.
