This series reminds me of the CWS against Texas in 2009

Game 1: Hot as balls and the Tigers had to pull out some ninth inning heroics to push it to extra innings for the win
Game 2: Game schedule screwed up because of rain, but it was still hot. Opposing pitcher shut LSU down and limited them to 1 run. Series evened at 1-1. Left the stadium tired, sun-burned, soggy and hung-over (was at Barrett's all day before the game in Omaha)
Hopefully game 3 will turn out the same way with the LSU bats coming alive and the Tigers putting a beat down on SBU to send the Tigers to Omaha!

That is actually a pretty close comparison 2 games in.

Well, J Mitch would be nice. Still, I think they get it done tomorrow. SBU had so much confidence in their pitching staff beyond their ace that they threw him twice in Coral Gables, so I think LSU will have some opportunities tomorrow. I also like Katz in CF. Arby's a good player in the field, but he was a real liability at the plate.
