nuss isnt hurt.
and if you go look at the plays...there are WRs running open all over. on the INT play for example, three WRs running open.
that is on Nuss
in the LA Tech game, guys running open all over, same with clemson
nuss just isnt seeing it, he is pressing worried about the oline
now run game...well if you just stick to basic zone over and over, inside and outside, from shotgun....prolly gonna have an issue because our right side sucks arse, mainly Davis, at run blocking.
davis just sucks and we are going to have to do some I formation under center to be able to run like we want
but some of what yall are bitching about it by design. they know what they have defense wise and they are not going to take chances. they are going to take the les miles approach until they feel better about the oline.

Agreed. Nuss took a couple of shots and didn't limp around like he typically does.
We had like 3 passes all game that traveled over 20-25 yards in the air. We were extremely conservative all night. The reason.... Go watch the Florida game last year. Kelly was not gonna let #88 wreck the game again.

Except last year we gave up 11 TFLs and 7 sacks. I’d say they were a bit better this year.

LSU is 3-0 with two very nice wins. Enjoy the season and quit moaning about everything
We still calling Clemson a very nice win?
And by year’s end I have a feeling that squeaking past UF on the back of 5 terrible INTs from Lagway won’t be anything to hang your hat on!
We won’t know anything about this team until November! The schedule is cake!

our O Line is the Achilles Heel.
As it has been lately. Time to reconsider Brad Davis.

Totally agree, it reminds me of Daniels’ first year and they weren’t throwing or hitting any deep balls, defenses crowded the first 20 yards from scrimmage and it made it hard to run and pass. I agree with the fact that they know they need to run the ball and run it more efficiently but do what you are better at ( passing ) first to set up the run.

More explanations for Offense dysfunction: 1) OL is struggling to pass protect/establish run game, 2) As a result, Nuss is uncomfortable and tentative, 3) WR's are not getting enough separation, 4) RB's are not getting it done - may be related to #1, 5) Offensive scheme and play calling suck!,
On the bright side, our Defense is kicking arse and getting better every week!

The only thing that is truly pathetic are the insufferable and miserable people who cant even take the time to enjoy an LSU team that is undefeated and currently ranked # 3 in the country ! Jeeeze ... ask your Dr about about Zoloft

Fla has a good team. They are one of our major rivals.

3. Nuss is a turnover machine

you have an OC that takes 2+ quarters to realize he can call plays where the ball is thrown beyond the fricking LOS.
This is what is pissing me off the most about Sloan. It’ll be freaking 3rd & 2 or 3 and he calls a pass play at the line of scrimmage. For goodness sakes man a vertical pass play over 2 yds is not that hard to do or too much to ask I wouldn’t think. Sloan makes everything look way more difficult than what it should be.

Weston Davis is a huge liability right now. He can’t start anymore this year

How do you know this? Are you part of the team medical staff? He’s been less accurate than last year, a lot of passes sailing on him, and it APPEARS that he doesn’t have as much zip on the ball. Which might explain almost zero deep shots.
It’s not like if he was, BK would be forthcoming with that information.

They need to do the inverse then. Use the pass to open the run.
Whether that’s running more plays out of I or dropping the TE down to a FB position and then running routes out of it to disguise the run formations, something has to be done to make the offense more explosive.
We have speed at wide out. Take the top off the defense.

It's neither, here's your book

It's #2 but Kelly is to blame if he allows it to continue. Which, after his response to the media during the post-game, it seems he doesn't see anything wrong.
Imagine justifying the shite running game by saying, "did you see the last run of the game?".
I like Kelly but God damn, hold your coordinators accountable. He cost a title during JD's final year because of it and now he's going to waste a championship caliber defense doing the same with this shite-tastic OC.
