He is from Baton Rouge and started out with Moscona I think. He kind of was critical of LSU hires during the Miles era more so publicly and I think it got him on the wrong side of advertisers back in the day. Not that there were lots of media critical of some of what Miles did but when your on a show you need to be savvy in how you say things when Advertising and business dollars are on the table.
That is what I seem to remember but someone here may have a better insight as to what happened when he was here in Baton Rouge.
However, he did a good job in my view when he was here and has in fact if I remember correctly a good voice for radio.
