Doom and gloom. Catastrophe syndrome.

The wind changes direction and this board goes to pieces.

Stop being whiny little babies, man up, and let the process play out.

This, to me, is the only thing that's been a huge red flag.

Did Woodward just fire him with no plan at all?

how is the governor sabotaging LSU when he had nothing to do with the contract they gave Kelly?

Because 3very single thing he has done in getting rid of Kelly has been done the wrong way. LSU looks like a second rate mickey mouse operation. I cant believe that people here are really burying their heads in the sand ignoring how unorganized all this looks.

So let me get this straight...We are going to try to re-set the coaching market with an incentive based contract with little guaranteed money.

That's Omar's words, no other person that I've heard with the athletic department has said this and Verge even said on the record that won't be a priority.

No way Kiffin comes if you dont give him a better contract than Kelly got and that is fact.

Omar is calling the shots. Indirectly through his appointed BoS, Pres, and AD

And what little guaranteed money we are willing to give, we don't want to pay it and will force you to court to pay a mutually agreed upon contract? Someone needs to get this administration a PR lesson and quick...

Our coaching hot board just shrunk drastically....We're fricked!

The idea that we are going to puff our chest out and lead the way to new innovative contracts when every other coach is getting big guarentees is what's actually laughable.

Woodward didn't do any different than what the other ADs are doing. If I'm choosing between Waffle House and Ruth's Chris, but Waffle House is gaurenteeing me stuff and Ruths Chris is staying I have to earn it... I MIGHT still choose Ruth's Chris, but I'm going to think about it.... im still going to think about it.

The guys that really pay for these things have more power than even Omar. You want nice things you do what they say. And I believe in the end when it comes to nut cutting they win the power play in this over Omar.

I’m not disagreeing that BK’s effort was subpar. But giving someone that kind of contract is always a possibility. Bottom line is that we wrote the contract. He signed it. Pay the money and move on. Publicly fighting over screwing him out of his buyout is bad business. Even if we win the suit, which we won’t, the toxic culture on display in our athletic department will cost us much more in the long run

Can you really use rumors as the basis for with-cause? …and old rumors at that. Rumors about k Kelly’s personal life and not his behavior on campus.

It does look like Woody didn’t have the funds secured and now LSU is scrambling. Candidates who’ve been around are going to recognize trumped up bs when they see it.
