Not only that but they've allowed more direct violations by other players/schools. Look up James Nnaji, Michael Turk, Ego Demin, Thierry Darlan, etc.

And now the NCAA has changed the rules again saying that mini-camp counts as becoming a "professional". I expect to see sweeping sanctions for schools that rostered those players (Texas, Mizzou, South Carolina, Oklahoma, etc.)

As of this lawsuit, it's only SEC rules that matter. No one cares what the NCAA thinks anymore (see Chambliss).
