I think this helps LSU in more ways than meets the eye.

1. If JJ is out of the lineup, then there is no doubt what our gameplan will be...run, run, run, and run some more.

2. Who will be running the ball? I dont know, but it won't be our qb. No qb draws, no option, no wildcat. Just straight line up and pound the crap out of Oregon's d line.

3. Oregon has been preparing to face one offensive scheme and LSUs game plan just changed. They can't put 8 guys in the box now because JL can, and will beat man up coverage.

4. Whatever dissension there might have been regarding the play of our qbs has just been thrown out the window. Even the players who think JJ was a better qb will have no choice but to get behind JL.

5. J Lee has taken an absolute beating since his freshman year. He has shown far more patience than I might have in the same position. I thinly he and his parents knew he'd get another shot, which.is why he staued. I hope he understands that.this is likely his last. I think he does, and I think he makes the best of it.

You are suggesting we weren't going to do this in the first place

Is this a different thead about the same thing?

Here is the deal: losing your starting QB 2 weeks before the season is never good and there are no positives to be taken from the incident. Lee MAY work out and we MAY have success in spite of JJ if he is lost but that would be due largely to dumb luck.

The only thing it takes out is that it won't be JJ running.

I posted something along these lines last night and it was taken down about ten seconds later. I don't see a damn thing wrong with discussing the potential effec of all this on Oregons gameplan. Where am I wrong??

Eliminating one of your weapons is NEVER a good strategy in a war...or football. whether "4 and 5." happens is not our call.

Is JJ really the best passer on the team?

Kelly said they just started doing it this week. Whats bad for them at this point is that they have no idea what will come of all this. If none of this had happened all they had to do was prepare for JJ.

Please start mett over JL! I would feel better if Randall started over JL. If JL starts what's the over/under on how many passes are lofted in the air for a pick six
