But perceptions typically have some kind of basis for them
Absolutely
People that continually disparage the program are somethingbobjective to form solid opinions.
I'm not talking about skeptics.
There's a handful (which I've named before) that disliked Miles, disliked Orgeron and do nothing but show up when things are bad. There are some who see the glass half full all of the time
To say that element does not exist is foolishness.

Ricky's breath. I've already said this, please pay attention.

He received plenty of 4-5* players that just did not pan out. Again, i think what hurt the previous regime was two fold, having more faith in the ability to turn players and that they could only focus on local products

I don't see how anybody could watch that game last night and not be pretty optimistic about the chances of scoring on Bama.
The fact that our bar is now “I’m optimistic that we may score at all on Bama” is disgraceful

Well that's every team and every class. It's just a numbers game. Evaluations are way more important than rating

Why do you think this is our bar?

Did I say that's the bar? I was responding to a person who said something about not scoring against Bama.

Hold up. Disliking the coach isn't the same as rooting for LSU to lose or being tormented by successes, which has been suggested in this very thread, let alone since Orgeron got the job.
Of course there is an element that acts overly negative, but it's not because they want LSU to suck simply for spite towards the head coach. It's because they want better for the program.

Ive never said it was.
You've got me confused with someone else
Now there were a few who said they wanted LSU to tank this year, but that's not the entire picture

Yes, they're affectionately known as Negas. Not my name, this started in the 90s.

There are plenty here that want O to win or more based on the coach. Same as those who wanted Les to win or lose

You said "it's gotta be killing him" about Damone a few pages back.

You conspicuously left out the rest of my comment. Are "negas" those who are simply critical or who actually want the program to tank?

it's very telling that you go straight homosexual acts when trying to put down someone.
also, dont get mad because you're another miles hater that gets his football ignorant opinion shat on with facts.

So, you seem to know that these people exist (I'm not saying they don't. I've seen a person or two say that wished LSU would lose so Orgeron could be gone). You also seem to comprehend that this is a very small number of people.
So why do you lump every single person that disagrees with you wrongly into this category?

They do if they get what they want. In this case, it would be a dynamic offense and legitimately competing for championships again.

we all know your bar is just winning 10 games every year.
its amazing how just 10 wins became acceptable to you once O was hired

EXACTLY!!! This is perhaps the most hilarious part of this entire thread. These people actually think this thread is needed because they don't think "negas" are happy that we put a great looking offense on the field. I was fricking thrilled that I was wrong when I saw the offense. I was hopeful before, but didn't know if we would actually see it. We did, and I couldn't be more excited.
