Conference expansion sucks. LSU loses the Florida series and instead has to play the shite dicks from college station annually. What a trade!

No kidding. This is horrible. Is this even the SEC anymore? It's like we're in some nightmarish half arsed version of the old Southwest Conference. Like... why the hell are Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma even in the SEC? Did the conference need the money THAT BAD?

The SEC West, before A&M contaminated the conference, was good all on its own, even with Arkansas.

Sheesh.

I was there in '93 for 3-58, At the time I thought LSU may never beat FLA again.

I was there with you in 1993. Stayed until the bitter end. Wanted that shite to burn in.

LSU v Florida and LSU v Auburn are both highly underrated series.

RE Auburn: We lead 32-24-1, but remember, we split with them during the Saban era, with each team winning their home games, and didn't start to pull away a little bit until Auburn got wonky at the end of the Tuberville era and through the Chizik and Malzahn eras. Do not be surprised if they get good real fast under Hugh Freeze.

Both series had more than a few all-time classics.

I would rather ditch the Texas A&M game and keep our rival game with Florida. LSU needs to make this happen.

With Texas entering the SEC..LSU will play a Texas school often on a rotation. LSU does not need to play the little brother Aggies every year.

Missing the opening day of duck season to watch us kick their dick in the dirt one last time (as far as annually goes)

I will always treasure the fact that not only did LSU give Spurrier his last loss but it also drove him to quit coaching after the game. And LSU was not taking a knee inside the 5 in the last seconds from ringing him up for 50+ points.

We will play UF every other year. That's enough.

i don’t want to lose the Florida game because it’s always great, but we’ll live.

We already lost the Kentucky game years ago. Up until then we had played Kentucky about the same amount as Florida. In fact, we have still played Kentucky more times than we have played Auburn.

I’m more worried about losing MSST. We have played them 115 times - more than any other school we’ve played. The only school they have played more than us is Ole Miss.

*One side note. If we did go to pods Bama was pushing for MSST because they’ve “played them so many times, and it’s a long standing rivalry.” We’ve actually played MSST 8 more times than they have.

Growing up in FL I looked forward to this game more than any other yearly. Going to be hard to accept changes like this going forward.

Absolutely love playing Florida every year. Even in the 80's it was always a tough game.

This and Auburn are my favorite games. It blows that we won’t play UF every year now. So many incredible games.

Without a doubt. The 97 game was one of my favorite games in Tiger stadium History, "Death Valley".

Yep, the end of an era. Times they are a changing.

Florida and Bama were the only two that could recruit like us in the Saban/Miles era. The only team truly deep on both lines and at the skill positions.
