Max Johnson would have been 3rd in yards and 2nd in TDs last year single season in LSU history if he played a 13th game. And we all saw how bad he was.
People hated Hendon Hooker at Virginia Tech and were saying good riddance to him, then he went to Tennessee and had arguably the best statistically, single season for a Tennessee QB in history in 12 games no less. He utilized the better talent and better staff and offense at Tennessee to his advantage.
Instead of just saying some flat bullshite, back it up with something. A guy with one bad year during a year with major problems ALL through the football program, does not mean he sucked at the school. Kid was failed at this program. This is why 5 star QBs stick to QB gurus, top 5 programs, and high powered offenses. It gives you the least possible chance of the bullshite that happened at ASU over the last couple of years. If this kid left to a top school after his freshman year, he'd be a first rounder in this draft.

32 TDs in 29 games, about 200 yards per game, 1 season with a completion% over 60 and a passer rating in the low 140s. Plus his play has declined from that incredibly overrated freshman year, nowhere else are you gonna see people pimping 17TDs in modern major college football. Maybe the greatness is just bubbling beneath the surface but he’s been a below average player so far.

That seems like an evaluation of his physical abilities, which are great, but it doesn’t say anything about his ability to read a defense, or make decisions. That’s what makes a great QB. Do you have any info on that?
