we can support the players while still bashing in the administration, and unfortunately that comes with negativity.

The extreme and constant drama and negativity does not help the football team or program get better.

It's intellectually dishonest to expect the fanbase to conform to some sort of idealized behavior set because it's the "right" thing to do.

The fanbase is the mob. The mob pays to be entertained with wins. It's a product. The administration is selling it.

Trying to convince someone they should not only be grateful but also pay for the shite being shoveled down their throat will never work -- for any fanbase, of any team, anywhere.

The end to drama starts with competitive play followed by wins. That's it. Football is a zero sums game -- nothing will ever change the mobs' reaction to it.

Ok. The administration is poison. Call it criticism, call it bashing, but that's how a lot of people feel.

I get what you are saying, but did anyone really get their way when the man hired was not considered a head coach candidate anywhere else in the country? If you got your way, God bless you, but you are in the extreme minority in that regard.

Just show support for the players. Cheer them during the games. Win or lose at the end of the day it's just kids playing a game.

They aren't kids. They are young adults who are preparing for the real world.
If you don't like criticism or fans not supporting you like a winner when your a loser, go get your fricking participation trophy from some other school.
I'm sick and tired of coddling everyone. No one likes losing, and no one supports losers. If you don't like it, don't lose, or maybe you weren't cut out for this so go take up some other hobby where people only say positive things to you all the time like your in kindergarten.

Ok you loon listen up. Fans who stay positive and choose to encourage and support the team aren't dishonest they're loyal and practical. Dishonest is believing if you bitch enough on tiger rant coach O will be fired in the middle of his first season before a new AD is hired like you're doing. That's being intellectually dishonest. This constant negativity and bashing on social media has already caused a player to get into a fight with fans. That's directly affecting the team negatively and that's a problem. This constant bitching is actually hurting the program and some of us would rather our players read something positive and that the fans of this team are still behind them. The players read the rant not the coaches or admin. Nut jobs like you are doing nothing constructive by attacking every positive post on the rant.

I'm going to stick with my initial response that you are senile. You are nowhere near on point to comprehending what I am saying.

Well, he's a pussy. Man up and play better if you don't like people being critical of the shitty performance your team has shown.

Some of us would rather our players play better so we can cheer for winners. No one cheers for losers. And none of us wants LSU to lose.
If you can't take criticism when you dont perform well, then you will have a hard time in life.

The fact that some of these players are defensive about their shitty play shows you how bad it really is. How are you supposed to get better if you can't accept you aren't playing well?

I agree with you on this 10000%. Too many hippies (60's) and hipsters feeling like we should all give participation trophies to spoiled entitled kids who don't do the work.

It's simple actually, win and we stfu. Lose, and get unhappy fans.

This is how much I support the program. I didn't cancel my trip to Tuscaloosa to watch the tigers inevitably get slaughtered in a bloodbath. I stayed for the entire Troy Game. It was painful, but I stayed. Problem with most of the newer generation of LSU fans they have high expectations and hold a high standard for the program and just wont support them especially when this shite was completely avoidable. Me, I hold the program to a high standard but would never abandon ship. Alleva, King and the LSU Bos hired Bozo the Clown despite a huge divide on the hire...One side was the South of I-10 Baws and the other side was mainly fans that expect LSU to compete for titles and that includes most LSU alums like myself.
