We just got beat by a really good team, sure we lost but we looked good and lots of people where watching.

This loss scares me, I feel like it sucked out the life completely out this team. We might tank the rest our SEC games now

Their star made 7 threes in the second half sure we didn't help our selves but they played well.
I'm talking about our tourney outlook. Could have been a big win yes but it didn't hurt us. We are 6-2 in the SEC and if we continue to do well we get In.

Loss #8 and it is not even feb. You could lose to '96 Bulls by one point and if it is loss #8 it is a bad loss. We played a weak OOC schedule, play in a weak SEC, and just blew our best shot at a signature win. Unless we win the SEC tourny we will be the first team out and in the NIT.

But the fact remains, you have to win games to get into the tourney, and our loss total is piling up.
I still think we get in if our record is anywhere near close, ESPN will want Simmons in. You heard Vitale say it, "a tournament without Simmons would be a shame".

Still have a chance to get a quality win. @south Carolina @kentucky vs texas a&m. Win one of those games you are 14-4 in the SEC assuming we win the games we should. Plus you have the SEC tourney. We got work to do sure but this doesn't kill our season.
