This is a 9 game SEC season.

I hate to break it to everyone, but that's 8 more losses our own conference will take.

You don't have to like this statement, but LSU still controls its own destiny. A two loss SEC school, in a 9 game conference slate, goes to the playoffs.

People keep talking on this board about what we do or don't have to do, and quite frankly, you're forgetting that everyone has a 9th game.

Texas and Alabama still have heads up games with LSU. That gives LSU a tie breaker over both Texas and Alabama.

Ole Miss still has to play Georgia and lord knows who else.

Ohio State losing to Texas was also huge.

There's still a LOT of football to be played.
