This disparaging of LSU coaches and QB's, enjoy it while you can

LSU is not the Cleveland Browns, not even close, not even in the same damn galaxy. When was the last time a Brown's QB won anything of significance? And mocking LSU's coaches, namely offensive coordinator and the head coach, a reminder this is just their third year, they've not even had a full two years at the helm at LSU in their roles. This is the year, 2018, where both should be and will be judged for their worthiness as LSU coaches. Let the trash begin then, when its completed, if needed.
Personally, I believe 2018 will be a kick-arse year for the LSU football program. LSU may not go undefeated or may lose more than two games this year but two of the four top ten teams are going down to LSU!
This year, 2018, will be the sweetest for many reasons, because of the schedule, two of the top ten teams are at home, four are on the schedule. It'll be the sweetest, because of the hunger for victory to dispel all the negativity of some fans and many analysts.
It'll be the sweetest because it will bring back the true magic of Tiger Stadium, a raucous and roaring atmosphere for every LSU game, not just the Alabama's. Anxious to see just how hostile Tiger stadium becomes in 2018 for any teams visiting this year, regardless of their stature. Many in this Tiger den will arrive hungry, your asses will be devoured!

Got a national championship coach fired. Why should the expectations be any different for Orgeron?

I think the 2018 tigers will kick arse. Doesn’t mean orgeron is a good coach bc he is not.

These two statements are why nobody takes the "lets just wait and see" crowd serious. You all don't want to wait and objectively judge his performance. You all want to wait until expectations are low enough so that he finally meets them.

I regret that I have but one upvote to give.
Soon enough, any bowl game will be considered a good enough season.

Judge the program after this year, after this schedule. I’m giving Coach Orgeron no excuses, I’m just giving him this year!

Was Les fired for not winning championships or too many 7 and 8 win seasons?

If you are giving Orgeron no excuses, why mention the schedule?
The fact is, this schedule is no different than many of the schedules we've had over the last 10 years (except for last year) and is not going to be any different moving forward. In the coming years we have a UT home and home, FSU at a neutral site, and Clemson at a home and home. Bama is going to be bama as long as Saban is there, Auburn is always going to be a tough game, Jimbo is recruiting lights out at A&M, and I expect Mullen to improve at florida. The schedule isn't getting any easier, so we better find someone that can beat these teams.

that's fine. but i don't want to hear about how hard the schedule is. no one gave les a break on the schedules. either produce or step aside.

He was fired bc he was too damn stubborn to evolve his offense and ditch Cameron.

Lol I’m happy I just have reasonable expectations for the school I love and graduated from.

So we definitely upgraded with his Dline coach and his TE coach!!

i don't think anyone would have had a problem with the offense had les kept getting double digit wins. people can tolerate winning ugly. lose ugly (2014, 2015) and people run out of patience.
