Will he contribute this year? Anyone know what is going on with him these days?

I remember when he came in as a true freshman there was talk about the possibilities of him getting playing time. Not really sure, guess to much talent in the front of him.

He seems like a perfect candidate for a transfer or will just not show up on the roster come the beginning of next fall or spring.

Man, it is just hit and miss with recruiting. You never know until you get them in camp and can see what they do on the field.

He was running both 1st and 2nd team fullback in spring drills. Foot Surgery made last year a wash. Should contribute this year.

Kellen was hurt last year, and is kind of in the dog house with les and the rest of the staff. we have a mutual friend. The friend said he's not really 100% committed to football. Met the guy a few times, and can't argue that assesment. He probably won't stay on the team past this year.

too bad. I hope he sorts things out.

It looked like he was about to play several positions decent, but not start at any.

This WAS all true last year. From what I have heard, he got his head straight.....and it is paying off this spring. Keep an eye out for #48 Saturday. I think he will be in the mix at FB this year.

As of last week he was the Leading Hitter in spring training out of ALL the players. Looking good. So is Fontenot.

Kellen is basically a tackling dummy at this point.

He wasn't really highly rated as a prospect and was called an "athlete" because he didn't have a true position. I remember people thinking he would play LBer. If I remember, no one knew who he was until he sent out a DVD of him training or something and LSU and UCLA were his only scholly offers according to Rivals.

After watching his HS video...the kid looked like he could have played QB for alot of teams. It's too bad he probably wont see the field for LSU. But hey...he's gotten a free ride at a great school...

I was really good friends with him in Middle school at Edgar Martin in Lafayette and played with him. Think he transfered to a Texas high school to snag an extra year of high school eligibility if I am not mistaken. Don't know what kind of trouble he'd be in, he was a good kid then.

Is Miles letting him on the field? He tries to push players out by not letting them compete. Coaches follow his orders.

Are the Cubs going to call up that young prospect at ss? I heard he's pretty damn good
